OptimalWork Mentorship
Sep 2, 2024
I hope to develop as an organizational leader and have been leaning heavily into the OptimalWork paradigm, founded by Kevin Majeres MD, who’s a lecturer in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and Sharif Younes. Their approach is based on three principles: mindfulness, reframing, and internalizing challenge.
I’ve been relaying the concepts to my colleagues at work during an in-person lunch seminar every two weeks. My development team has put the concepts into practice through a recommended daily Golden Hour, and we’ve found that the mindset greatly enhances the quality of our work and our sense of meaning.
I would strongly recommend the platform to anyone seeking to experience greater depths of self-mastery, joy, and immersion in work, with a spirit of service and love. The approach is supported by the best of modern neuroscience and psychology, with much traditional wisdom to ground it.
